Who Makes Our Bread?

For our SESE (geography) lesson last week, the children were learning about who is involved in bringing our bread from the farm to our table. They also learned about what processes are used to turn wheat in fields into bread.

Following on from this lesson, we brought in ingredients to make the dough in school. The following day, after the bread had been baked, we all enjoyed a slice of brown bread. Thank you to Inis who kindly gave some home-made jam to Ms.Comer. We used this lovely jam on the bread.

Learning is fun!

The children in third class played place value games on the I-pads, using Seesaw.

Print-making techniques for one of our art lessons. The children then peeled off the tape on the page, after the paint had dried, to reveal their names.
